The minimum age requirement when using Avis (CDW – collision damage waiver) insurance is 23 years of age provided licence held for 1 year. Between the ages of 23 and 25 restrictions apply so that only car groups B, D, E, and I can be driven.
There is no minimum age requirement when using BAE (COI – company own insurance), but you must be over 21 to apply for Avis Preferred status.
